The Jev Decision Model Comes to Cloudflare Workers AI
ev is an AI model from TypeSafe AI designed to make structured decisions rather than generate free-form text: it returns typed choices, scores, and confidence levels that software can consume directly through three primitives (Choice, Score, and Noul—the latter for binary responses with probabilities).

Launched on September 15, Jev made its way to Vercel’s AI Gateway in less than 24 hours, and Cloudflare already lists it as a third-party model available on Cloudflare Workers AI, accessible via a REST API or TypeScript SDK, with a context size of 32,000 tokens.
Performance and Use Cases
According to TypeSafe’s internal benchmarks, Jev achieves an accuracy of around 67.8%, similar to Claude Sonnet 5, at an approximate cost of $0.0004 per decision and 0.4 seconds of latency. It can be used to route support requests, classify incidents by severity, determine which tool an agent should use, or filter which cases should be escalated for human review. However, it does not generate explanations and has difficulty with arithmetic or date comparisons.
